Associate Pharmacy Clerk

The Associate Pharmacy Clerk is responsible for prescription facilitation.  The Associate Pharmacy Clerk provides a high level of quality while maximizing productivity.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Open, batch and scan incoming prescriptions
  • Fill prescriptions
  • Pack filled prescriptions
  • Replenish shelves and automated dispensing machines
  • Track inventory
  • Sort and deliver mail
  • Operate automated shipping machinery
  • Constantly meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while maintaining a good attendance record

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Some experience using office machines
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system application
  • An education level of at least a high school diploma or GED OR 10 years of equivalent working experience
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Available to work 40 hours per week and overtime as required according to the needs of the business
  • Prior stable work experience
  • Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
  • Continued employment is contingent upon successful Pharmacy Technician licensing and registration

 

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, frequent and lengthy periods of working on your feet, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse to operate automated machinery, handling other objects
  • Automated production environment with moderate to high noise level due to machine activity
